Qingdao Qianwen European Art Museum

Located in Building 9, Qujiazhuang North, Wangqing Road, Wanggezhuang Sub-district, with a total investment of over RMB 50 million, the museum covers an area of 527 m2 and a courtyard of over 600 m2. The museum consists of four parts: preface hall, basic exhibition hall, themed exhibition hall and end hall. Among them, the basic exhibition hall mainly consists of four exhibition areas, i.e. the exhibition of palace Boulle craft furniture, the partial display of royal resting area, the partial display of banquet hall performance area and the partial display of royal salon. The themed exhibition halls mainly include the 19th century French upstart restaurant exhibition, the 19th century French lady jewelry exhibition, the imperial study exhibition, the exhibition of stamp and postcard from 29 European countries, the 19th century British teahouse exhibition, Meissen porcelain, Royal Woocester porcelain and Louis XVI style display cabinet exhibition, etc.

At present, there are 723 collections in the museum, including 21 collections of European palace furniture in the early 19th century, 136 collections of French upstarts' restaurants in the 19th century, 35 collections of French ladies' jewelry in the 19th century, 16 collections of study in the period of emperor administration, 482 collections of stamps and postcards from 29 European countries, etc. The collection mainly covers European furniture, porcelain, tableware, jewelry, stamps, postcards and other aspects. The abundant collections fully demonstrate the economic, social and cultural development of Europe from the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century and help to enhance people's understanding of Western culture.

Opening hours: May to October, 09: 00 ~ 17: 00 (admission stopped at 16: 00); November to April of the following year 10: 00 ~ 16: 00 (admission stopped at 15:00). Closed on Mondays (except for legal holidays)
