
Qingdao Tiangong Longquan Celadon Museum is committed to the dissemination and promotion of celadon culture. In 2016, it settled in the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao. Located at No.1, Laoshan Road, Laoshan District, Qingdao, the museum is close to the famous scenic spot Shilaoren Sightseeing Park, which is surrounded by mountains and seas with the charm that completely conforms to the Longquan celadon culture. At present, there are celadon production experience area, finished product exhibition area, exhibition area for porcelain kiln fragments of past dynasties, famous artists exhibition area, tearoom and other functional areas. It aspires to bring celadon culture to Qingdao, so that more people can contact celadon, understand celadon, and make celadon culture last forever in the long river of history!
Longquan celadon, with a history of more than 1,700 years, is one of the selected ceramics projects of "World Intangible Cultural Heritage". It is produced in Longquan, Zhejiang Province. Longquan celadon is divided into Ge Kiln and Di Kiln. Ge Kiln is one of the five famous kilns in the Song Dynasty with the characteristics of thin body and thick glaze, natural cracking, purple-brown mouth and iron-brown feet, golden and black lines, simple and dignified shape, with ancient charm, and is reputed as a "treasure in porcelain". Di Kiln is characterized by thick body, green glaze, gentle and pure porcelain surface, and glaze color moist like jade, which is known as the "flower of celadon".
