Located in Shilaoren Urban Living Room, “Shilaoren Beach”—a Go-to Area for Music Events is a venue for cultural activities where residents and tourists can enjoy modern urban culture and pursue quality life via leisure and entertainment activities. It regularly organizes band performances at two places with cloud-top views, namely, Huashen Book Cafe and Sobook store (Shilaoren), and attracts residents and tourists here to take photos through promotion on the Internet, becoming a famous go-to venue for music events and bringing into full play the role of pop music in enriching people’s cultural life, leading the development direction of music in the city, enhancing the city’s cultural charm, and promoting the city’s economic and social development.

Completed in May 2018, the Urban Living Room contains Shilaoren Bathing Beach section and East Donghai Road section, the total length of the coastline reaching 1.4 km. Great efforts were made in building a multi-function interactive ball playground, small extreme sports field, amusement park and other infrastructure, covering an area of more than 400 square meters. A complete ground light belt is pieced together with energy-saving, environmental friendly and endurable LED luminous bricks.
