Qingdao Guoxin Sports Center

Located in Fushan New Area, Qingdao Guoxin Sports Center is nestled among East Yinchuan Road, Haier Road, Tong’an Road and Seventh Jinsong Road. Covering an area of about 56 hectares and a total construction area of 300,000 square meters, it’s surrounded by mountains and lakes, with a beautiful environment and convenient transportation. It’s also the largest sports facility complex boasting the most complete functions and the highest level throughout Qingdao’s hundred-year history. The main stadium of Qingdao Guoxin Sports Center (Guoxin Stadium) was designed and constructed in 1999 in accordance with international standards. With giant waterproof sunshades, 48 bleacher areas and a seating capacity of 60,000 spectators, it is currently the largest stadium in Qingdao featuring the most complete functions, capable of holding professional sports events, large-scale art performances, as well as exhibitions, fairs and other activities.

Located in the northwest of Qingdao Sports Center, Qingdao Guoxin Stadium has a total construction area of 50,564 square meters, including an underground construction area of 5,144 square meters. The stadium is shaped like a huge and shinning gem oozing vitality, energy and strength. Built in compliance with international standards with 12,500 seats, the main hall boasts a 3,531-square-meter venue for comprehensive competitions. With advanced facilities such as a world-leading LED full-color hanging bucket-shaped display screen and top-class sound and lighting system, as well as complete functions, the venue can hold ice sports, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, martial arts, fencing, boxing and other single international competitions, and can also meet the requirements of NBA level games. What’s more, featuring a professional hoisting bridle path and lifting points, the stadium is also capable of undertaking concerts, annual corporate meetings, exhibitions, product launches and other business activities. Since its opening in 2009, it has undertaken more than 100 large-scale events, cultural performances and enterprise meetings. The second underground floor of the stadium also has a table tennis court and a basketball court, which have become the first choice for enthusiasts of ball games in Qingdao.
